CONCERT #1: THURSDAY 27 JULY - LUKE PLUMB & RANDAL MUIR

Experience the mandolin wizardry of Luke Plumb, an artist who traverses folk, acid croft, world music and the classical tradition with ease and style. For this special Lunchbox Concert, Luke takes to the stage with accordionist Randal Muir, in a program featuring European waltzes, South American rumba and choro arranged for virtuosic accordion and mandolin.

CONCERT #2: THURSDAY 3 AUGUST - ALEXEY YEMTSOV

Enjoy thrilling technique and lyrical musicianship when Ukraine-born pianist Alexey Yemtsov performs Schubert’s A minor Sonata D537 alongside works by Brahms, Chopin and Rachmaninov.

CONCERT #3: THURSDAY 10 AUGUST - RICHES & WOOD

North-west Tasmanian chamber music duo Josie Riches (violin) and David Wood (guitar) present a program ranging from the renaissance to the 21 century that features music from Vienna to Buenos Aires, from composers including Diabelli, Piazzolla and Ourkouzounov.

CONCERT #4:  THURSDAY 17 AUGUST - TWO X TWO VIOLINS

Prepare to be enchanted when VDB Fellowship violinists Alethea Coombe and Natalya Bing join forces with Julia Fredersdorff and Susie Furphy in a program of lively baroque violin duets, plus two delightful Telemann concertos for four violins without bass.

CONCERT #5:  THURSDAY 24 AUGUST - LATITUDE 37: UPON A GROUND

Discover the colourful, quirky, sophisticated and eccentric instrumental world of 17th-century England with Latitude 37, hailed by The Australian as “marvellously skilled and impeccably stylish … an Australian baroque group that can confidently mix it with the world’s best”.
